Avoid deprivation language and aid weight loss

Do you realize that how you think and what you tell yourself can affect your attitude and motivation toward weight loss?
Jillian Michaels, personal trainer says, "When you tell yourself what you 'have to' do or what you 'can't' do, the deprivation language makes you rebel. But if you say, 'I'm not going to have that – won't' it's a choice and you're in control."
Use positive language
So next time you’re facing a food choice, try telling yourself something along the lines of ‘I won’t have that cream doughnut’ instead of ‘I cannot have that cream doughnut!'
Your internal thoughts and language can thus play a role in whether you feel deprived or liberated and this can affect the food choices that you make as well as the amount of weight you gain.
