We may often think we’re eating completely healthily but sometimes we fail to consider the nutritional value of the side dishes that we consume.
Picture yourself with a small platter-for-one pile with healthy vegetables, carrot sticks, cucumber slices, celery sticks, etc. Great isn’t it? But what dip are you having on the side?
Dr Oz suggests having a vegetable bean dip such as hummus as opposed to a ranch dressing or a fatty cream-based dip. The dip you choose could either promote your weight loss efforts or pile on tons of calories to what was once a healthy meal or snack.
So be careful and relook at what you’re eating before munching away!
