Basic moves that burn fat

We all know that getting rid of fat involves more than just making the right food choices. Exercise plays a huge role in burning off calories.

And if there's any celeb who knows what it's like to struggle with extra weight and lose it thanks to a healthy eating and workout plan, it's Jennifer Hudson. Jennifer lost a total of 36 kilos and shared a few exercise moves that helped her, on the Dr. Oz show.

These are basic moves that you can do at home or at the gym...

Jennifer Hudson's daily exercise moves

  • 25 x sit-ups

  • 25 x push-ups

  • 25 x squats

The above three sets of exercise moves are known as “The Trilogy” and are done four times with about a minute's break between each set.

As a bonus move, Jennifer also does some skipping with a jump rope to get in some cardio.

Start slow and work your way up

If this exercise routine looks a little terrifying, don't panic! Start off slow... say with five repetitions of each move and then repeat the trilogy twice.

Increase the repetitions and sets as you feel yourself becoming more fit.
