Limit or edit your food

Following a diet can be expensive, time consuming and frustrating. So instead of trying to find the perfect one for you, learn to edit what you eat.

After all, permanent weight loss happens when you make good lifestyle choices. Make the choice to live a healthier life instead of going on a diet.

You don't need to cut out all forms of your favourite foods, just limit them. For example, if you love bread, have French toast for breakfast instead of a sandwich for lunch. Your body burns most of its fat at the start of the day.

Then for lunch, stick to something like a large leafy salad with tuna, lentils, or chickpeas. You could even throw in last night's leftover roast veggies and feta.

Think about the food you love to eat and then try and find healthier ways to eat them or limit them.
