Eat grilled fruit to limit weight gain

It is very easy to limit your intake of calories by preparing healthy meals that are loaded with nutrients, instead of a high degree of fat, protein or sugar. But then it is also very easy to consume hundreds of calories when we load our plate with dessert and then go for seconds!

So if you are watching your weight, and simply still want to enjoy the comfort of having a dessert, what do you do?

Make a healthy dessert!

Here is an idea. Try grilling some fruit. Just spray some non-stick spray on a baking tray and toss on your favourite fruits. Simple and easy!

Peaches, pineapple, pears, bananas or apples make a delicious treat. You could try a combination of fruit, if you find that you are getting bored of eating the same fruit over and over again. Just remember not to overdo it with the portion size!
