Easy. Simply make the decision to give your body the best possible care you can every day. This means eating healthily, exercising and keeping stress at bay.

Tips for long-term weight management

  1. Be aware of your food portion sizes and stick to healthy servings.

  2. Be active every day by doing exercises that make you smile. It's recommended that adults do at least 45 minutes of moderate physical activity each day. (Remember, you can break this up into 10-minute intervals throughout the day).

  3. Stick to an eating plan packed with veggies, fruits and grains, and limit your intake of meat.

  4. Incorporate some form of relaxation into your day – every day. For example, this can be yoga, meditation, taking a warm bath, or sitting in the garden.
