During this time of year, festive music can be heard almost everywhere – at home, on the television, radio and even in the shopping malls. When some of your favourite carols or even other songs come on, grasp the opportunity to burn some calories by singing along with the music.

Attend concerts

Attending concerts is one of the best ways to sing out aloud and not feel embarrassed or shy as everyone else is probably doing the same thing and feeling the same way too. Buy your tickets in advance, practise a few notes beforehand and sing to your heart's content.

Dance too!

Breaking out into a little dance routine will add to your calorie burning session. Remember that the more physically active you are, the more calories you will burn so have fun and enjoy yourself!
