You know you must eat the right stuff, but not too much. You must also exercise the right way as much as possible, but not too much or you'll burn out. You've got to eat this before gym, and that after. If you're running you need to carbo-load right? Oh no wait, that's SO 2013!

Surely there's a simpler way to see all this... Yup. There is!

Find out if diet or exercise is more important if you want to get thin:

Disclaimer: if you are a professional athlete or training for an extreme sports event, this is not for you. This article is for people who want to be in shape and healthy into their later years in the simplest way possible.

1. Nutrition is for weightloss

You should find a way of eating that makes you feel good. You should be able to do this way of eating all the time, for the rest of your life.

For example, if you decide to cut dairy from your diet, do it forever…

That makes sense because if you cut out dairy and it makes you feel good and you lose some weight then you probably shouldn't return to eating it because common sense dictates that you shouldn't have been eating it in the first place right?

This is why I believe that a balanced approach to weight loss is best for everyone. Extreme diets work while you do them, but they sometimes make you miserable and they encourage a return to the old way of eating, which makes the weight come back.
