Well if you do, then don’t worry. Here is a simple suggestion on how you can burn some calories whilst working from home. Try standing and working instead of sitting, even better try standing on a treadmill!

Walking on a treadmill as a beginner provides you with a relatively mild form of physical exercise. No matter how mild or simple your exercise activity is, remember that it is still helping you to burn calories and this will help you to achieve your weight loss goals much quicker than if you were not engaging in any exercise at all. Obviously the faster your pace on the treadmill – the more calories you will burn in the same period of time.

An added benefit is that exercise releases the feel-good endorphins which will help improve your moods and thus may help keep your motivation levels up. You may also feel more energized and may want to engage in more exercise during your break. If possible, try to keep some exercise equipment near you so that it will serve as a reminder to exercise and get those calories burning!
