What better way to burn some calories and lose weight than by having fun at the same time!

Invest in a balance ball

If you don’t already have one, try investing in a balance ball – check in the health and wellness section or exercise equipment section of sports or health shops.

Use a balance ball as a seat

Use every opportunity you can get to sit on the balance ball, for example when watching television, reading your children a story or even in your ‘free’ time. In order to keep you upright and balanced, your body will have to gently flex your torso muscles. This means that you are using these muscles - toning them as well as burning calories in the process.

Throw and catch

You could even play a game of throw and catch with your children, using a balance ball. The more active you are, the more calories you will burn.

Bounce!

Have fun by bouncing up and down very gently every time you sit on a balance ball. This will help you to burn more calories and reach your weight loss goals sooner.
