Banana chips (dried banana slices) might seem like a healthy on-the-go snack choice because they're made from bananas.
But don't be fooled - this sweet and crunchy snack option is loaded with extra calories. They're usually fried, which means that they contain around eight grams of saturated fat (that's 40% of your daily value).
One study also found that a diet high in saturated fat could make you feel hungry, even when you're not. Instead of buying banana chips, which contain around 145 calories, choose a large banana, which has only around 121 calories and zero grams of saturated fat.
