Tip: If you fail to plan, you plan to fail

Having goals is important. Whether in business, studying, relationships, finance or DIETING reaching a defined end-point in a predetermined time-frame gives one the motivation to stay the course through the difficult times. Setting a goal is easy.

"I want to weigh XYZ kilograms and have X% bodyfat in X weeks' time."

OK... How are you going to get there? What's your PLAN?

The old saying goes, 'Fail to plan, plan to fail' - this is one of the great truths for people wanting to change their bodies.

The ones who succeed plan their nutrition and exercise, relaxation and sleep, what they will allow themselves to drink and what they won't.

These factors all come together to form a PLAN on the macro level. This is the framework within which their lives will be lived until the goal is reached. The people who succeed are the ones who stick to the plan.

The crazy part?

The EXACT detail of the plan doesn't matter a great deal. The thing that matters the most is that you are consistent in applying the plan every meal, every day.

Obviously a plan to eat only chocolate cake is NEVER going to work, but if your plan focuses on healthy whole plant foods, adequate exercise, adequate hydration and adequate rest you will see results.

So what’s the plan? - GET A PLAN AND STICK TO IT!
