Walking lunges

Firstly, step out with your right foot, bending at the hip and knee until your left knee is just above the floor. Then push up with your right leg and bring your left leg up to step out in front of you as above.

50% run

Jog from one marker to the next at only half of your high speed. Be sure to place a strong technical emphasis on your form. Keep your body moving in a straight line for this exercise, using an exaggerated ‘lip to hip’ arm motion throughout.

Heel flicks

While running, bring your feet up behind you to touch your buttocks. Try to perform as many of these flicks as possible. You could in addition try to place your hands behind you to keep your back straight and shoulders back.
