One of the places many people get stuck is that they sacrifice a healthy breakfast because it takes too long to prepare, and instead just chug a cup of coffee and grab a bagel on the way to work.

And we all know once you've eaten that bagel the rest of the day is a write-off from the point-of-view of your diet.

So here are 5 breakfasts you can prepare in 5 minutes or less that will stop you from going past that bakery in the morning.

1.     Nuts, seeds and fruit

This is hands down my favourite... Nuts, seeds and fruit are nature's 'ready-meal' [Tweet this]. Grab and handful of mixed nuts and seeds, a banana and an apple (or whatever fruits you prefer) and you're sorted.

The fruit satisfies the craving for sweet things, and the nuts and seeds give you a protein injection to stop you feeling hungry two hours later.
