Many people are either hosting or attending festive or end-of-year parties during this busy time of year. It may just be a great opportunity for you to increase your calorie burnout by offering your assistance wherever you can.

If a loved one or colleague is attending a party and needs someone to watch their children or complete some tasks or odd jobs for them then volunteer immediately. You may get more of a physical workout than what you had bargained for!

Alternatively if they are hosting a party then jump in and help out with the preparations. Decorate the room, assist with the shopping and even help to prepare snacks and meals if needed. The more physical work you engage in, the more weight you can lose. Just remember not to snack unhealthily if helping out with the meal preparation and drink lots of water whilst you’re busy too!
