What better way to lose weight than by spending time with your loved ones, whilst doing so?!

Try setting some time aside daily or regularly in which your family can get together and burn some calories. This does not have to be a formal session at the gym but rather an informal get together in which you could all engage in some fun activities that keep everyone on the move.

Some ideas could include playing a sport together, running on the beach, swimming, chasing one another in the garden or even going for a brisk walk in the park. Try to keep activities exciting and as physical as possible to get the calories burning.

Ensure that you only carry healthy snacks and low calorie beverages if you are away from home. Opt for water and perhaps some fruit in the event of someone feeling hungry or thirsty.

Remember to keep everyone motivated and keep this family bonding time as much fun as possible! The benefit of weight loss may thus be achieved together so keep at it!
