Here’s how to perform this exercise:
You can practise this exercise whilst lying on the floor with your legs propped up on some form of support such as a bean bag.
Begin by breathing in and bending one knee toward your chest. Now clasp both your hands around your shin. Whilst breathing out, press your knee to your chest and also pull your navel back up and back towards your spine. You will find that these movements will make your chest widen at the back and lift at the front.
Thereafter, release the pull of your leg before you breathe in again. You can repeat this routine several times before doing the same using the other leg.
