People who want to lose weight and 'look good naked’ want to get the results quickly and easily. Take this pill, drink this shake, use this electric exercise device while you watch TV on the couch …

In reality though, the only way that works is BABY STEPS.

Start today. You'll look the same tomorrow, and the next day, and the one after that. You'll see a change in yourself after around four weeks. People close to you might notice a few weeks later. The general public will see it around twelve weeks in - after a LOT of hard work and discipline.

Most people never get there because they give up

But just like a baby has to keep getting up because learning to walk is important, you HAVE TO KEEP GRINDING if you think your health and fitness is important.

The beauty of baby steps is that every time you take one, you stumble into the next, and before you know it you've strung three or four together and people start to cheer you on. Then it gets easier.

Put all of that instant gratification junk out of your mind and get focused for the long haul. Make good decisions EVERY mealtime. Get some people to support you and a goal to stumble towards, and remind yourself of the importance of the achievement.
