Why Jennifer Hudson Will No Longer be a Weight Watchers Ambassador

Since 2010, Jennifer Hudson has given major props to Weight Watchers for helping her shed an incredible 80 pounds. But now, after four years of working as a spokesperson for the company, the actress-singer and the brand have announced a mutual breakup. "I have chosen to step away from my role as ambassador, and I am excited for the year to come, with many new projects and lots of new music," Jennifer said in a statement to People. "My experience with Weight Watchers has been truly life-changing. I am grateful for what I have learned throughout the process and will always take it with me."

Sounds like she's full-on passed the torch to fellow ambassador Jessica Simpson, who recently announced that she reached her goal weight. Sure, Jennifer may be feeling restless and antsy to take on new, different opportunities. But keeping the pounds off also means adopting a different approach than the one used to drop them in the first place—so it's smart not to stick with the exact same habits if your weight-related goals have changed.
