Three Easy Weight Loss Or Fitness Strategies You Can Start Today

When you look at people like Bob Greene, Oprah Winfrey, Lance Armstrong, Tiger Woods and the like who are successful in weight loss or fitness, running, or cycling you'll notice that they leave clues for their success that are very important.

1st. They focus on the task at hand. They focus on committing NOW. Following a good eating program or getting to the fitness center and working out TODAY, will make you feel a whole lot better about your program and yourself.

2nd. They do not use excuses to get out of what they know will help them be successful. They just do it. If you need to say NO to an event where there will be no healthy food choices at all, then just for that event - say NO. Another event will come around when you are more prepared for it.

3rd. They create successful tools to help them follow through on their commitment for that day. If you need two alarm clocks to wake you up for gym in the morning, buy them. Put them in separate corners or in different rooms of the house. If this will help you get up and go to gym - do it! If you need a support group - create one. Do whatever it takes.

When you focus on doing these things just for today, they become more manageable and you will develop belief and trust in yourself.

I encourage you not to worry about the wedding that is coming up in 2 months time or the race that you will run in December or buying a swimming costume for the summer. Focus on your commitment at hand, and that is "Just for today, I will work my program to the best of my ability."

Rate your program scale of 1 to 10 at the end of the day. See how you feel when you just concentrate on TODAY. I have a feeling that the TOMORROW might just be a little bit healthier, slimmer and fitter.
