"Fat Burning Foods" is a subject that's been getting loads of attention lately. Since the concept was first publicized, the hunt for the "hottest weight loss pill" seems to have drifted towards the "miraculous fat burning food."

As a leanness seeker, you'd be surely wondering if the whole notion of fat burning foods is simply another scam or if it is indeed a legitimate fat loss tool that possesses its strategic uses.

It is in an attempt to set the record straight that I have written this series of articles; an a-to-z of fat burning foods that would get you acquainted to Mother Nature's arsenal of fat loss weapons...

Once you read it, you'll be familiar with the different categories of fat burning foods, be able to discern and classify them and will get introduced to dozens of foods that hold the coveted title.

So let's get right to it...

First off, allow me to dig in the good ol' Webster's and present you with two basic definitions:

1- Food: Material consisting essentially of protein, carbohydrate and fat, used in the body of an organism to sustain growth, repair and vital processes and to furnish energy.

2- Burn: To consume fuel and give off heat.

Here's what you can come up with by analyzing these two definitions:

- Fat burning occurs when your body consumes stored fat as fuel.

- Fat burning foods are foods that contribute to and encourage the process described above.

- Such foods are not exclusive to one macronutrient; they can be either a protein, carb or fat source.

- Growth and repair are two main processes that work in synergy with fat burning foods to maximize the fat loss effect. Carefully selected foods would allow to achieve the perfect hormonal balance and cause a metabolic spike, thus maximizing the above-mentioned effect...
