When many food manufacturers take out the fat they tend to pack it with sweeteners to make the flavor taste good. So just simply buying foods that state they are low fat or fat free does not guarantee you are better off then buying those items. Many of those fat free and low fat items are packed with twice the amount of high fructose corn syrup to maintain the flavor.

7. Beans and other legumes are rich in protein and fiber but low in calories. So instead of packing in the meat, try eating beans and legumes instead. This will replace a lot of saturated fat with fiber.
