The downside to a fruit juice diet plan is that you become weak and disorientated very quickly. The reason for this is because the body is not only restricted to extremely low calorie intake, but there is no intake of protein, fat or complex carbohydrates.

Juice fasting is not seen as a permanent solution for weight loss as you can only stay on the fruit juice diet plan for maximum five days. Often the weight lost during the juice fasting is regained afterwards. While on a fruit juice diet plan people experience intense headaches, stomach ache and extreme tiredness and irritability. These symptoms are due to the detoxing process the body is undergoing.
