New Year's Resolution - The Biggest Weight Loss Myth?

Around December of every year, millions of Americans make so called "New Years Resolutions" to lose weight or get healthy. This concept has always left me dumbfounded because it is kind of silly when you think about it. If you really had a goal that you wanted to achieve, why would you wait till the end of the year to start working towards it? Wouldn't it make more sense to start working towards it as soon as possible, like today?

Find Out How To: Lose 9 Pounds Every 11 Days

Call me crazy but if I had a goal let's say to cut down on sugary foods, I wouldn't say "gee I guess I should stop eating donuts around 3 months from now". This is just another way to procrastinate. People try to mentally convince themselves that just because a new year is starting, success will magically happen for them! That's not the way life works and weight loss is no exception. Changing your body means changing your mind, having a new way of looking at food and exercise. Then turning that change of mind into action day by day even if they are little steps.
