Wardrobe. How you dress can really affect how thin you appear. Choosing darker colors like black is always slimming. Also, make sure to dress for your body type. Avoid wearing clothing this too small or too tight. When choosing clothing and accessories, you’ll want to accentuate the parts of your body you are proud of. For example, if you have an hourglass figure, wear a tight belt around your waist to make your small waste even more pronounced. Heals. This will elongate the body and create the illusion of thinness. Your legs will appear longer and leaner. And frankly, the taller the better. If you can comfortably rock a 5-inch heel without looking awkward or tipping over then go for it. Posture. Always make sure that you are standing and sitting up straight. A hunched back or a slouch can add pounds to your frame. Carry yourself with dignity and grace, you’ll appear more confident and you look thinner. Purses. When choosing the perfect purse to coordinate with you holiday outfits, remember, the bigger the better. Large purses work like camouflage. They will cover at least part of your body and their huge size will make you look much smaller in comparison. Just don’t overdo it. Make sure that the purse works well with whatever you choose to wear. Water. Start drinking a lot of water, at least 8 glasses a day. This will reduce stomach bloat and it will flush out your system. It will also help to improve dry skin and give your hair extra shine as an added benefit.
