How to Lose Weight For a Wedding - Dont Be a Fat Bride!

How to lose weight for a wedding
First thing to consider is that loosing weight for a wedding takes a little time. Experts recommend that we don't attempt to lose more than 2 pounds of weight per week.

Depending on how much time and you have and haven't left it to the last minute, you should be able to set a weekly target weight loss of around 2 pounds and be able to achieve your ideal weight before your wedding.

What are you eating now?
Most of us know enough about food today to be able to say what is doing us good and what isn't.

Well if your honest with yourself, you'll almost certainly be able to identify at least one thing in your normal day-to-day diet that isn't helping you lose any weight. Maybe it's the potato chips, the chocolate bar the doughnut or the fast food, there's going to be at least one bad thing you'll be able to identify and remove from your existing diet immediately that is going to make some difference. Think hard about what you're buying and bringing home from the supermarket. If it's in the house, then at some point you're going to want it and you're going to eat it! There maybe lots of ways you could reduce your daily calorie intake significantly by making some very simple changes in what you eat and drink. For example: switch from regular to diet / sugar free drinks. Buy the fat free or low fat option rather than full fat. Don't assume it's healthy! Always check the label to see just how many calories or grams of fat a product contains. You'll be amazed!

Are you getting enough exercise?
I personally hate running, gyms and aerobic classes. However as a dog owner, besides having to, I love to walk. I take martial arts classes twice a week and this combined has helped me get back in shape and improve my fitness and keep the weight off.

What I'm saying is, there's a form of exercise, out there to suit every one of us if we look. Try different things, don't be afraid to try new things or get back to doing something you once enjoyed! Make some changes to your daily routine. Maybe you can walk to the office today or go out at lunch time and walk for a while. Take the stairs today and not the elevator. Remember though don't do too much on day one, waking up tomorrow feeling stiff and aching isn't going to motivate you.

A Few Do's and Don'ts

Some Do's
