How to Lose Weight Fast in a Week - Is it Really Possible?

Nowadays every person is looking for easy and fast ways to accomplish their goals. Nobody wants to spend any time and effort anymore. Of course smart people are taking advantage of this mentality, buy offering diet plans, pills, exercise programs, supplements, that all promise extreme weight loss. But is this realistic?

First of all it is very important to understand, what you mean by success? Some people consider losing 20 pounds in a week very successful, while other consider losing 40 pounds of fat in one year a success. Although losing weight fast may seem very attractive, then in reality it has many flaws.

Weight loss and fat loss are not the same, they are completely different things. The goal is always to lose fat only, with minimum muscle loss. The weight you lose in one week includes fat, water and muscle. So if you are able to lose 7 pounds in one week, then maybe 3 pounds of it is actually fat.

Another problem with losing weight extremely fast, is the rebound effect. 95% of people who lose weight are not able to keep it off and the main reason is trying to do it too fast. It would be much better to lose FAT and to do it permanently. But that takes time and hard work. This of course is not very appealing.

But in my opinion, if you are serious and really want to make permanent and positive changes to your body, then you need to forget all those stories about super fast weight loss, because they are just stories. Real life is much different from the fiction and brainwashing you get from TV. Losing weight fast in a week is possible, but it certainly is not permanent.
