Fat Burning Results - Use This Simple Plan

If it is permanent fat loss your after keep reading it is not as complicated as some would have you think.

Are you swimming in a sea of fat loss information ? Yeah I know it's crazy out there trying to know what to do. In a previous article about fat burning exercises I touched on the different opinions (and there are so many) on what are the best exercises to do for fat loss.

Today let's look at the whole issue of fat burning diets and workouts.

In the title I mention the K.I.S.S principle. You know what that means right? Just in case you don't it stands for Keep It Simple Stupid (no offense). it's not your fault on a daily basis (at least it seems like it anyway) we are hit with the latest and greatest you just have to have exercise gadgets or the newest hollywood starlets miracle fat burning diets.

The reality is that there are really just a few simple principles to keep in mind to lose weight the right way--by losing fat.

Eating Healthy. Let's talk protein, one of the essential nutrients for the human body. Each and every year, your body regenerates new cells which come from what you put into your body. Putting protein into your body helps you build these new cells which make up our skin, hair, nails, bones and muscles. You can get protein from a variety of sources. Complete proteins come from chicken, fish, seafood, egg whites, red meats (choose lean red meats like top round and sirloin), and dairy products (choose low- or non-fat dairy products).

While you want to make sure you are getting enough protein, do not go over-board or buy into the all-protein-no-carbohydrate diets. While these may work for a little while (they only give very short term results and not permanent results either we want permanent fat loss right?), they will cause you to actually gain weight and fat in the long run. So if you do decide to try this approach (and I don't personally recommend it), make sure that you only do it for a short period of time.

The reason that high protein diets work is that proteins actually cause your metabolism to speed up since your body has to work harder to digest, process and use it in comparison to fats or carbohydrates. Also, protein is less likely to be converted to fat than any other nutrient, even if you eat too much of it.

Looking at your overall healthy eating plan, your goal should be to get about 50 to 55 percent of your calories from carbohydrates, 30 percent from protein and 15 to 20 percent from fat. Keep in mind that carbohydrates should come from good foods such as fruit, vegetables, whole grains and potatoes (sweet potatoes are the highest in nutritional value).

Next in the "everything you need to know about fat burning" comes exercise. To put it very simply. Muscle burns more fat. That is why weight training should be your primary fat burning exercise. It has been proven that the fat burning benefit to weight training is that long after your workout is over your body is still burning fat(not true with traditional aerobic workouts).

Now when I talk about weight training to gain muscle I'm not talking about huge bodybuilder size muscles(but if that's your thing more power to youand for you guy's if you want to get big you must eat big), you will be burning more calories even when you're not doing anything.

As far as your workouts go can we finally forget the hour long aerobic's workouts. Way to time consuming and not really that effective. I like efficient and effective. Oh and although I have been talking weight training here I also use kettlebells, bodyweight exercises and interval training in my fat burning workouts all if done correct will give you better fat burning results in less time. And I like variety it keeps my motivation high to continue my workouts. Keep doing the same workouts over and over and you will give up for sure.

Let me give you a simple (not easy) But effective fat burning workout:

1A) Barbell deadlifts
1B) Pushups

2A) Kettlebell Swings
2B) Mountain Climbers

Set a timer(I do 20 minutes) you judge it based on your conditioning level. Do 5-6 reps per exercise 1A & 1B rest as little as possible keep it up till time runs out. Rest 5 minutes give or take. Reset your timer and do exercises 2A & 2B. Short sweet and very effective.
