The Nutrisystem Counseling: Is It Free? Does It Work? Does It Really Help?

I think that one of the big advantages of Nutrisystem is that the company offers very good counseling from weight loss specialists, counselors, and dieticians. This isn't a requirement, but it's a really nice resource and I feel that it's prudent to take advantage of it. People often ask me if it's free or if there are any requirements or limitations to receiving it. In the following article, I'll go over my observation of many aspects of the Nutrisystem counseling including costs, availability, format, and how it ends up working for most dieters.

Cost And Convenience Of The Nutrisystem Counseling: Probably the most common question that I'm asked about this service is if it's free. It is. There's no additional cost for the counseling or for your membership. You only pay for your food. And when you place a food order, you're automatically given a free membership. And, the free counseling is included in this.

Additionally, unlike diets like Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers, there's no face to face weigh in or accountability. Yes, the counseling is free and included, but it's completed online or over the phone. Basically, they have several options that I've experienced. You can call. You can email. Or you can do a live chat. They also have weekly e classes set up where many of the common questions and concerns are addressed. You can submit a question and have it answered. You can also listen the the questions of others. I really enjoy these because they're very anonymous and they allow you to see that you're not alone and that many other people have the same questions that you have.

How Do I Contact A Nutrisystem Counselor? How Does It Work?: How you contact a counselor depends on what time of the day it is and how you'd prefer to communicate. From my experience, the phone number works 24 hours per day and 7 days per week. So, you always have immediate access to someone. If you prefer to communicate electronically, they have an email set up for this. (I've found the turnaround time to be very good.) The online chat is also available every day, but it's generally not available after midnight during the week or in the late night hours on weekends.

It's also important for me to mention that this service is unlimited. Basically, you can contact someone with any issue that you might have no matter how often you've used the service before. The folks on the other end of the line are really nice and supportive. It's important to remember that they want you to succeed. They're not judgmental and there's no need to feel silly or embarrassed for asking a question. I suspect that they've heard it all before. I also know that many fellow dieters prefer to speak with the same person each time. This is certainly possible and usually not too difficult.

Does The Nutrisystem Counseling Really Help? I know that some people prefer to diet alone. I'm a shy and private person and I used to feel this way too. But even if you're shy or not extroverted, you can still take advantage of the counseling. Live chat and email are often more comfortable for introverts. And I really recommend the support. It can make a huge difference and be very reassuring and motivating. It's free, unlimited, and there for the taking. I find that most people express a good experience with it. I firmly believe that it's one of the best aspects of Nutrisystem and I often encourage people to take full advantage of it. Even if you're skeptical, it doesn't hurt to at least try it and to go from there.
