Do activities that you enjoy like sports or swimming or hiking. Don't fall into the thinking that you have to do the same exercise for the same amount of time every day. Mix it up and keep it enjoyable and you'll be much more likely to stick with it.

Tip #2 - Make It Inconvenient To Eat Unhealthy

When you are armed with a food list before you go to the grocery store, then only buy what you plan on making meals with you won't be able to snack on anything because you didn't buy it! If you have your favorite snack food around the house all the time, it gets eaten fast doesn't it? So just stop buying it so much and you'll stop eating it.

Tip #3 - Prepare Appropriately To Make The Right Choices

Eating healthy and exercising can be a tough undertaking, especially if you're not in the habit of doing it yet. So make it as easy on yourself as you can. In your free time plan out your meal schedule and make big meals so you have healthy leftovers.

Prepare some snack food like veggies or fruit and put them at the top shelf of your fridge in plain sight. You'll be more likely to reach for them when they are right in your face. Be creative and think of ways to prepare your body and mind for what's coming. When you do, you'll be that much more likely to take the healthy choice because you've prepared in advance.
