Sleep is one of the most important things in your life for good overall health. People don't know that sleeping effects weight loss. You need six to eight hours of good sleep every night for the most rest and good health. Lack of sleep also determines your weight.

Being over tired is not a good thing. People will run straight to the fridge or kitchen cupboards to find some comfort foods to eat. Usually in the form of junk food.

Eating more food especially bad food will make you gain weight. Your digestive system will now have to work harder and more often making you feel even more tired than you were before. You can chang this cycle by getting enought sleep at the same time every night. Sleep will naturally increase your energy and make you less dependant on eating food you shouldn't be eating. Then with a new eating schedule you aill see some weight loss happening naturally.

It might be that you cannot change your sleeping patterns because of your lifestyle. shift work or any number of things can effect us at home. Drinking a lot of water will help this situation. Water makes you feel fuller if you drink it before meal time. Water will also restore energy levels in your body.

Working a shift work type of job can be very taxing on a person. It is hard to keep your weight at a certain level because your sleep is happening at different times of the day.

The hours you sleep will vary because of family and interuptions as well. This will combine to change how and when you eat and how effective your digestive system is.

It is important to have the correct percentage of body fat. If you are lacking in sleep your body will naturaly want to store more fat. You need to try and get the proper amount of sleep at the right hours for good body fat percentages and the best overall health you can have.

Getting to much sleep is not good either. Body fat is stored and you will feel sluggish. You need to exercise to rev up your metabolism with eating the right foods and getting the correct amount of sleep. This is a community effort on your part.

Energy increases with proper food choices and exercise. The more you exercise the more you will want to do it. You are trying to change a poor lifestyle to a good one. A good lifestyle with good choices will help you in keeping your desired weight, regular sleeping hours and high energy.
