The Renegade Diet Results

Everyone is always asking about the this book by Jason Ferruggia. "This sounds just too good to be true, what are the renegade diet results?" In this document, we will go over the claims of the renegade diet and separate fact from fiction. This information is based around my personal experiences as well at those of a few friends and family that have tried it(yes, on my reccomendation).

This renegade diet is not your ordinary diet plan. It encourages eating a ton of carbs within the confines of an intermittent fasting cycle. Jason`s explanation for this is that the body responds to all this in a positive way by both burning fat and building muscle. All these carbs are eaten in a four hour "feast" window polarized by a long fast broken only by a few small snacks.

While this does sound counter-intuitive and the results too good to be true, I was intrigued enough to give it a shot, if only for a little while. The first thing that I noticed was that I was spending a lot more time on the toilet. This might have been a good thing however because before I started, I was not going on a daily or even bi-daily basis. I found that I rather enjoyed having regular bowel movements and felt a lot more "fresh". Anyways...

I did expect a large insulin spike from eating all those carbs, followed by a crash and a risk of diabetes. I did indeed experience this but the timing was very good. The feasting period is set right before bed so it becomes very easy to drift off into dreamland.

I did not much care for the food choices. While I could eat almost anything with carbs for the feast, for the small snacks I could only go with rather bland choices. Of course, I did not start this diet in order to enjoy food more, I started it in order to get ripped!

The first thing I noticed was that I was losing a lot of water weight. I was looking much less bloated than usual but more importantly, I was starting to FEEL a lot more lean and energetic. Honestly, I still use parts of this diet simply because of how it makes me feel. Eventually, the fat on my body seemed to start naturally disappearing and, with my daily workouts, slowly got replaced by very lean muscle. In other words, IT WORKS. It`s not a quick fix and Jason never claimed it to be, but it does do what it is supposed to.

In conclusion, my experience with the renegade diet were overall very positive and I recommend it to anyone looking to lose some weight while gaining muscle. If you are still unsure, there are plenty of reviews floating around that can give you a second opinion. Cheers!
