Shape Up!

Lose weight or "Shape Up" sounds like you are being ordered to follow a strict regimen and in some ways, it is exactly that. Sometimes it is hard to face up to the fact that constantly moaning about your weight is not going to get you anywhere, except maybe to annoy others. Harsh words you may think, but let's face it you got yourself into this and only your hard work and dedication can get you back on top. Let's discuss losing body fat.

I hear so often people talking about "genetics" and "hormones" being responsible for weight gain. Firstly the genetics excuse in 95% of cases is simply an uneducated excuse and secondly, Yes hormones can influence weight gain but taking control of yourself mentally, and physically will ultimately combined with proper nutrition get you back into shape.

I am always amazed to see colleagues taking "fat burners" and then going to the vending machine to buy crisps or ordering take outs. Please don't get me wrong here, I am not judging anyone nor am I forcing my opinions on anyone but If you're constantly whining about your body or your weight then Grow Up and do something about it. So in other words "Shape up or shut up"!

Nobody said it is going to be easy, but it is not that hard either. The key here is making a decision and sticking to your decision. Like anything we are trying to form a good routine that will inevitably become a habit and a "lifestyle". In the beginning it is tough but as the days go by it gets easier to the point where you look forward to the food, exercise and or anything else that goes with it.

I also hear a lot of excuses like I don't have the time or it is expensive to eat properly or train at the gym. Time is a real issue for a lot of people but when you sit down and analyse this there is always time and if you are serious then you will make time. Although training in a gym is preferable is in not crucial. If you want to "get into shape" then we will tackle it step by step and day by day

All that is required is a well balanced meal plan and a solid training schedule. Combined these will assist with the transformation you are after and soon you will be in shape having lost unwanted body fat. Take a few pictures, get weighed, and take measurements as we are going to review these regularly to map our progress.I hope that this article has given you something to think about because all I am hoping for is for you to be the best you can be!
