Isn't dieting just a big drag? An inconvenience? A total pain in the butt? Wouldn't it be nice if you could just eat yourself slim? Well you can. Here's my eat yourself slim recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoy!

Breakfast - Smoothie

Obvious, simple, healthy. I always go for half a banana being one of the ingredients. This way the smoothie is really thick, massively satisfying and fills you up for a long, long time. So as an example how about half a banana, half an apple, a few grapes and a quarter pint of skimmed milk. You can even throw in a dollop of low fat natural yoghurt which makes it a bit more creamy. The great thing about smoothies is that you can really experiment and try out different ingredients and see how it turns out.

You are getting an adequate amount of naturally occurring sugars to kick start you metabolism and and a bunch of fibre from the fruit in the morning . You are getting proteins and vitamins from the skimmed milk without the fat too.

Lunch - Salad

A big salad. Yes I say BIG salad. Don’t think of a salad as just some limp lettuce and a couple of slices of cucumber. With a bit of imagination salads can be a satisfying meal too. You can make it at home and take it to work. (Yes eating healthily takes a little bit of effort. Remember it’s the convenience food that got you fat in the first place!) You could have, tuna, chicken, pork, beef, anything. Try a variety of lettuces, romaine, Chinese lettuce, Lola Rosa add in some onions, mushrooms, bean sprouts, tomatoes, cucumber, chives, there is so much you can do with a salad. Drizzle it in olive oil and lemon juice for flavour. And make sure to add lots of salt and pepper. After have a piece of fruit.

Fibre and a huge variety of vitamins and minerals from the vegetables. And quality protein from the tuna or lean meat that you have had with your salad.

Dinner - Pork steak with stir fried vegetables (one of my favourite eat yourself slim recipes)

Take a large chunk of pork and either shallow fry it or grill it. Then stir fry some vegetables. Try mange tout with shredded carrot, finely chopped cabbage and onion. All you need to do is add a bit of soy sauce when stir frying. The vegetables, as they are shredded take only about one to two minutes on a high heat and you are ready. This is a ridiculously simple meal and so quick to make. Add whatever condiment you fancy to add some flavour to the pork. I suggest a bit of mustard. After have a piece of fruit.

More quality protein from the pork, a range of vitamins and minerals from the vegetables and more fibre from both the fruit and the vegetables.
