How To Master The Belly Fat Diet And Keep Weight Off

Contrary to what big diet companies might tell you, weight loss is a process that, when successful, fully ingrains itself into your lifestyle. The reason so many people struggle to succeed is simply because they fail to apply this fundamental principle. All of us know that our bad habits will ultimately hurt our chances at weight loss success, and yet millions succumb to the same problems that have persisted for years. There is a reason for this, and in this article I will share how you can overcome your weight loss struggles and keep weight off!

Why Belly Fat Diets Fail

Targeted weight loss is a pipe dream, but this should not be cause for concern among any frustrated dieters. The popular diets that promote the notion of targeted weight loss tend to mislead consumers with poor information about food and lead people away from essential nutritious elements like carbohydrates.

The low-carb diet has a large following, there is no denying that –but it also has a poor success rate when it comes to extended and effective results. What people deserve to know is that carbohydrates serve a critical function in our bodily processes –they store water. Over two thirds of our mass is water, so when carbohydrates are depleted form your diet, there is nothing to store your water weight and 10-20 pounds of it is quickly flushed out of your system.

While this might sound good at first, you must remember that the lack of water in your body will inevitably leave you feeling dehydrated, lethargic and hungry. These symptoms lead the vast amount of people to binge and return to the poor habits that made them want to lose weight in the first place! Clearly, targeting carbohydrates is not the right way.

The Belly Fat Solution

Water might be easy to lose, but it’s also easier to gain. What I’m proposing is that the legion of frustrated dieters who have failed on similar systems consider targeting fat as opposed to water or carbs. Fat loss is completely distinct from weight loss; it is healthier, more noticeable, more affordable, and far more practical.

I’m not advocating that people strip all the fat from their diet, in fact nearly 1/3 of all of your daily calories are recommended to come from healthy fats. What I am advocating is the proper healthy consumption of good fats like the ones we find in fish, nuts and certain fruits. You also want to start eating less calories in higher intervals throughout the day -5 or 6 small meals around 400 calories each so that your metabolism can burn them off in time for you next meal.

There is a plethora of new quality information always coming out on this topic, so it is important to keep an eye on developments in the world of health and fitness (but not in the world of the diet industry). Remember to incorporate all food groups in a balanced way and to fuel your metabolism through consistent, quality eating.
