Kinoki Detox Foot Pads-Real or Scam?

Weight loss fads come up every now and then, and let me state it clearly that personally I don’t have a problem with these fads unless they are just scamming people. From my experience, A common feature of most of these fads is that they generate as much hype and publicity around them as possible. Of course, these promises almost always turn out to be empty and fake, leaving people poorer by a few dollars. One such fad is the Kinoki Detox Foot Pads. Don’t buy into their claims until you have finished reading my review.

The premise behind this fad is that since we gain because of toxins getting deposited in our body, we would be ridden of the burden of extra once we remove those toxins. While it is true that you can lose by detoxifying your body, you cannot acquire a slim body that way.

What is even more ridiculous is the way it claims to ‘remove’ toxins such as mercury, lead, arsenic, etc., from your body. According to the product manufacturer, you simply need to stick those pads to the bottoms of your feet before going to bed. According to them, these pads would magically help you lose by detoxifying your body. Heck, they even claim that you could also be ridden of back and joint pains with those pads. Let’s see how far these claims are true.

Not so long ago, the famous scientist John Stossel, by conducting several scientific studies, disapproved of all the theories on which the product is based. The company’s website is also no longer up and running. Those two things alone should be enough to tell you that it is nothing but a scam product out to burn your money instead of fat.

A third scam trigger was the fact that at no point of time did the manufacturer come up with a comprehensive list of ingredients which went into the making of the Kinoki Detox Foot Pads. They always claimed that the product was ‘100% herbal, prepared from plants’, but apart from a few ingredients such as vinegar, Chitin, bamboo, etc., there is no information about the other ‘herbal’ ingredients.

It is interesting to note that while those pads claim to ‘detoxify’ your body of all the toxins that are polluting your body and making you gain , they are themselves susceptible to the toxins present in the air. If you have ever used them, you know that they emit a foul odor when you wake up in the morning with those pads tied at your feet. In essence, these pads become brown-colored and emit the foul odor when they come in direct contact with water or moisture. I don’t need to tell you further that these pads do nothing except filling your room with a foul and nauseatic smell.

Without wasting any more of your time, I would finish this review by asking you to beware of Kinoki Detox Foot Pads. Believe it or not, there are a lot of authentic herbal loss products that you could easily procure from your local health store at a cheaper price.
