Quick Weight Loss Tips For Beginners


These quick weight loss tips are for beginners, those of you that have never spent any time in the gym or much time moving around.

Everyone is different, so it is difficult to give advice to anyone without knowing their current level of physical activity, how many calories they eat and how often, as well as the nutritional supplements that they take. But, there are a few things that work for just about everyone. Here goes.

I always try to start with the easiest things that a person can do. When people try to make too many changes at a time or deprive themselves of their favorite foods, they become frustrated.

So, my first suggestion is to eat smaller portions. Don\'t even try to change \"what\" you are currently eating, no matter how bad it may be for you. Right now, just try to eat smaller portions.

For example, if lunch is usually a big Mac and a supersized order of fries, try ordering a regular cheeseburger tomorrow and a \"regular\" order of fries.

You see, I\'m trying to make these quick weight loss tips relatively painless. Once you start losing a few pounds, we can talk about ordering a grilled chicken sandwich and a side salad.

Now, my second suggestion is this. Instead of eating three big meals per day, try eating six small ones. That can be hard for some people to do. I\'m sure there are many of you that don\'t get a break every two hours. If you are allowed to, start bringing some food from home and eat something at your desk, every couple of hours.

You might explain to your boss that you are trying to lose a few pounds and eating more often was one of the quick weight loss tips that were recommended to you.

My third suggestion is to drink more purified water. Water helps rid the body of toxins. One of the organs responsible for cleaning toxins from the blood is the liver. The liver is also responsible for turning fat into energy for the cells of the body to use. It can work more efficiently if there are fewer toxins for it to deal with.

For that reason, you may also want to try a colon cleanse to help the function of the liver.

Now, the rest of these quick weight loss tips have to do with exercising. First of all, don\'t overdo it.

If you are currently sedentary, start walking for 15 minutes every day. Anyone can work that into their schedule. It\'s just 15 minutes. If you don\'t like to walk outside or the weather is often a problem, invest in a treadmill.

Walk at a steady pace. Walking fast, to the point of breathlessness, is not important at this stage of the game. Walking for the full 15 minutes is important.

Eventually, you would add strength and/or resistance training to your work-out. But, I\'ll save those quick weight loss tips for another article.
