Dear Raw,

I have weight issues now I never had it before I was always skinny I had a body that all girls wanted but now I gained weight and I am just chunkie my stomach has a huge muffin top and I cant stand it. I am gonna be 24 soon I want 2010 to be the best year I had. I want to lose weight and be healthy. I am 227 I lost weight but I am having a hard time getting that belly off and the rest of my body let alone my stomach.


I dream of looking like the brazilian girls or just a belly dancers body but I am struggling here what is up I have a hypothyroid but I just cant get modivated more and more I am willing to lose but I want to have fun in my diet. I dont want boring foods or blah excerises please help me I am too yooung to be fat! I want to look good I am jealous of my friends because most of them are skinny and have a good body I guess you can say I want a kim kardashian bod I mean fit and have a curvy waist line and look good in dresses and such but I dont know what I am doing wrong I dont crave soda any more ok maybe once in a blue moon but I avoid white bread I had it today but Grandma at the  nursing home likes white and I like nine grain so it was a difficult sitiuation; I really need some advice what can I do to lose weight I walk but I dont see results maybe I dont walk enough but I want to push my self I take medication for my medical issues like depression, and thyroid even asthma. I hate my belly and my upper arms. My thighs are annoying they are close together and I cant wear shorts ugh! If I do I get chaffing and it is painful. I wear capris now. I need help Raw I DONT KNOW what to do any more :( I am really sad and I cant be like this any more. I do eat healthy but what am I lacking?

I am a size 18-20 I use to be a 8-9 then I just started gaining rapidly....HELP My height is 5,3" I dont know what my real weight is suppose too be. I am a medium frame. My BMI is 41. I need help!!!!!!!!!!

Well, raw meat diets are the best way to lose weight. You see, the trouble with cooked diets is that the heat-created toxins that are present in cooked foods get diverted and stored in the fat-cells, and this greatly encourages weight-gain in people. Raw foods don't have such toxins so weight-loss is one of the big incentives to do a raw, palaeolithic diet, along with general regaining of health(the only raw food I know of, which does increase weight-gain is raw dairy, so avoid that like the plague and eat raw meat, raw veg, raw fruit, raw honey etc. and you'll lose weight in due course). Raw vegan diets can also  help lose weight but they invariably lead to serious nutritional deficiencies, so are very dangerous diets to follow.

There is, incidentally, a practice of bacteria-rich "high-meat" consumption, which can help a lot re curing depression. However, it's best if you get fully used to a standard raw diet before trying that. Here's an article about how useful bacteria are in relieving depression:-
