popcorn topping

Question
Hello!
I have recently discovered ghee, but am aware of the even higher fat content than regular butter (however, it tastes amazing on popcorn and you don't need alot!).  My husband has elevated cholesterol (not overweight, 6'1", 184lb. 50years old, is riding the bike 4-5X week for 1/2 hr, we have yet to have his cholesterol levels reassessed, overall is okay LDL is ok HDL is not great), but would like to put some butter/margarine type topping on his popcorn.  Any ideas? specific brands of marg/ organic margerine okay?
Thanks!
C. Ford

Answer
Hello!

Thank you for your nutrition question.  I would recommend a product called Benecol since it has alot of research to back it up.  It has been shown to actually help reduce LDL levels.  It is available at most supermarkets.  The following website can tell you more about it. http://www.benecol.com/  Hope this helps.
