I am a 67-year-old female...

Question
I am a 67-year-old female with a lifetime of off and on dieting.  Three years ago, I decided if I wanted to live a long productive life, I had to do something now.  In the past three years, I have lost 60 poounds and walk on most days 30 minutes to an hour.  I have not been on a "diet" but have tried to learn everything I can about healthy eating.  I have lowered my blood pressure, my cholesterol and am now in good health.  However, I have quite a bit of wrinkles on my arms and thighs, in particular.  Can this be improved upon by diet or exercise.  I am in no hurry to accomplish this because I am so greatful to be healthy again but just wondered if anything short of surgery ( which I am not interested in) could help.  Thank you for taking your time to offer this service.

Answer
Hi Alma,

It can take up to a year for the skin to tighten but it probably won't go back all of the way.  Keep well hydrated and the skin moisturized.  If you build the muscle underneath it will help tighten it some.  Visit www.toolsforlife.cc for other guidelines and let me know any further questions.
