Dates

Question
How nutritious, benefitial and fattening are dates? I'm addicted to them!

Answer
Dates are a dried fruit.  They contain NO fat, are a good source of fiber and contain B vitamins.  They are high in sugar, which most dried fruits are, but the sugar is a "natural sugar" as opposed to "added sugar".  About 3 dates make up one serving of fruit.  They are fine to eat but like any food, in moderation!  It is best to try to get a variety of fruits to increase your nutritional intake.
