excercising with anemia and B12 deficiency

Question
I have recently been diagnosed as having low iron levels and a vitamin B12 deficiency.  I am quite active and would like to know if I should cease excercising until the above listed conditions are remedied or does excercise have any kind of impact on the above mentioned deficiencies?  Thanks in advance.

Answer
Hi Heather,

I'd consult a registered dietician to confirm.  It does have an effect but I would recommend keeping your activity but going very light with it.  Just don't push it.  Visit www.toolsforlife.cc for other guidelines and let me know any further questions.
