Question
I am 18 yrs old and weigh 220lbs at 5'10. I want to start a diet and nned to know how much weight i will lose. I would like to lose 15lbs in 3 weeks. I am eating under 500 calories a day. I eat campbells chicken with noodles soup at hand twice a day which is 80 calories each time, 1 cup of sugar free jello which is 10 calories, fat free Pringles (30 chips) which is 140 calories and occasionally a granola bar which is 120 calories. I drink water (0 calories) and diet soda (0 calories).  I take one centrum vitamin every day. I go to the gym and walk on the treadmill with the incline on 15 at the rate of 3.5 miles per hour and burn 1000 calories. I have a slow metabolism.  Can you tell me how much weight I will lose by doing this in a little over 3 weeks?

Answer
HONESTLY (first hand experience - repeatedly, for more than 30 years) the ONLY thing you'll accomplish with what you're doing is GAINING weight by losing muscle and organ tissue, slowing your metabolism down (for what could be years!) and making future attempts at weight loss nearly impossible.

By cutting calorie count too low (Yours is terrible and like every other 'diet' you've tried, won't last long), your body goes into a biological reaction to famine/starvation.  Fat becomes a precious commodity that is held on to, even if it means using muscle first.  By doing this, metabolism (which increases with muscle mass/tone) slows down so even more fat can be stored.  What the body doesn't use for fuel from the muscle and organ tissue, it converts to more fat.  FAT becomes the body's number one priority - even if you spend 8 hours a day at a gym!
Meanwhile, so few calories and such an unbalanced intake will wreck your chemistries, most importantly the electrolytes that control your heartbeat.  You could actually DIE from heart failure.  Blood pressure will be low, calcium will be drained from your bones (which could result in PERMANENT bone loss and complications you can't imagine, or would want to).  Remember, your teeth are calcium.

15 lbs in 3 weeks?  How about losing ALL the weight you could ever possibly want or need to lose - AND not dieting or giving anything you like up - AND not having to work out like an Olympian - AND not caring about the scale ever again - AND being one of "those people" who can eat anything they want without gaining weight????   Yes you can!  I'm proof!  No diet pills, powders, supplements, devices, nothing!

By the way - you would need to be on that treadmill at that rate for at least an hour to burn that 1,000 calories AND any muscle you tone or develop would just be 'eaten up' by your body in order to make up for the lack of calories (starvation).  The burning will crash to a halt as soon as you stop the exercise.

The vitamin is great if you a stockholder in the company. Doctor's feel that taking a multiple vitamin is ok mostly because it doesn't any harm.  Not that it really makes a difference with doing any good.

I can't guarentee anything in 3 weeks other than you'll LOOK better and feel terrific, but I DO promise that if you stick with the outlined program I found - you WILL drop weight and it'll stay off.  I've been 'little' now for over 5 years, after having a weight problem and eating disorder ALL my life!

I have it all specified on my site, which is FREE, no sales, No signing in, No promotions....just help for those of us who keep buying the products, trying the newest plans and repeatedly failing.  Help that includes DESSERT, bread, ice cream, pizza, whatever!

Just remember, please, you have to stoke the fires of the machine (your body) in order to get those fires (metabolism) really burning.  What you're doing is like trying to run a car without gas or oil - pretty soon, the gears just grind and the engine seizes, freezes and stops.

Remember too, before you take or trust ANY advice, is there a sales or promotion behind it?  Is the advisor or site sponsoring a product?  If so - don't even bother.  There's an ulterior motive behind their advice, no matter WHAT they say and no matter how it MAY sound.

Check this out and then let me know (if there's a special 'date' you have in 3 weeks, I can help with suggestions to DRESS 15 lbs or more slimmer, just email me here or there).
