Dieting and Chinese

Question
Greetings, Mr. Rapitis:
I live in America, and I LOVE Chinese. I was raised with Sweet & Sour Pork with fried rice, and a couple months ago I tried orange chicken and fell in love with it.

I'm currently on a diet, keeping my caloric intake of 1500 max. Would enjoying a plate of Chinese food hurt my dieting?

Thanks a bunch,
Teenianne

Answer
Hello Teen!
Thank you for your nutrition question.  Since you are eating at a healthy caloric level I don't see why eating a plate of chinese food occasionally would be an unhealthy choice.  As long as you don't go overboard all foods can fit in a healthy diet.  Eating healthy is really about moderation and variety to keep a diet interesting.

Hope this helps.
