Hi George:
Is it absolutely necessary for a person to have protein with EVERY meal? What's wrong with eating ones daily protein requirements for lunch and eating the recommended amounts of food from all the other food groups for breakfast and dinner?

Hello Terrence!
  
   Thank you for your nutrition question.  It is not absolutely necessary to have protein at every meal. In fact, protein should only be 20% of our dailly diet. The rest should be 50% carbohydrates and fat 30%.  It is best to start your day with some protein such a hard boiled egg.  It keeps you from being hungry througout your day.  The rest can come from your dinner or lunch.  Hope this helps.
