Question
My daughter is 12 years old, and if she misses school lunch how does it affect her learning?
Thank you,
Cathy Theobald

Answer
Missing meals is not healthy for anyone whether it be children or adults!  Missing meals means you are probably NOT getting the amount of nutrients you need daily for proper health and not getting all your required servings from each food group daily. Missing lunch can lower her blood sugar and energy, make it more difficult to think and to process information.  It can definitely impede her school work both mentally and physically.
