Hello again, I was reading yuor webpage and was wondering what types of fruits/veggies are good for raw eating? I like apples, straw berrys, grapes, oranges, carrots, occassinaly water melon, I don't know of any good veggies that don't taste too bad could you reccomend some good choices? I could eat cucumber & possibly cherry tomatoes, I can eat cabbage as I don't think its too bad lettuce I coulnt eat plain so its out of question I guess, oh I love kiwis also how are these for dieting? what about celery? now is there certin times a day I should be eating? how many times? wil this really work? the only way I'd ever lost weight and mind you it was only 1 or 2 pounds was when I ate only 800 calories a day and gave my self bursting headachs doing non stop sit ups for a half hour at a time this is the only time I lost weight and I never touched a fruit or veggie... how is this? also I take vitamin c daily one or two 500 mgs is this ok wehn dieting? also I drink only water when dieitng will this work? any help is greaty apreacated,thanks so much.

Hi, I am about 20 pounds over weight for my age/height and I'd like to loss the extra weight, now going to a gym isnt psosible I can't afford it nor can I afford home exercise equitment, I was wondering how many calories should be in my daily diet while I'm dieting? also I do sit up/stumick crunches for a few minutes several times daily and go for a walk every evening the walk is ussaly at lest 20 minutes long as I walk with my dog then go to the stores near by and walk around for a bit before returning. I am also intrested in possible fasting every now and then for two/three days as I've heard of people doing this... I was wondering thou how long can someone go with just a bowl of ceral in the morning? and just water all day? as that would be my one meal of choice and water is my perfered bevrage anyways. Would fasting on and off throught the month along with a low cal diet and the exercise I'm getting now reduce my weight at all? I'd like to lose all 20 extra pounds. also what does a good diet consist of? what can I and can I not eat? please let me know if you can help me thanks in advance.

Hi There,

Unless you can afford to check into a stress free resort somewhere, fasting is a bad notion. It gets you producing way more toxins than it flushes out - it is extremely stressful! Pure self abuse.

Do your situp stuff in slow motion, once a week. Wear out each of 6 muslce groups, one at a time. Do it in slow motion, non-stop once a week is far more effective than traditional resistance training. Daily does more damage than muscle building.

Go for 30 minutes a day (except for your resistance training day) of walking or whatever that gets you breathing hard. 3 units of 10 minutes each is fine.

When you eat real food instead of flavored packing material, you get what you need and calories add up nicely by themselves. When you eat empty food, you stay hungry. When you mess with your appetite, treat it like your enemy instead of your best tool to tell you what you need and when you have had enough, you set yourself up for eating disorders and yo yo dieting. Eat all the raw fruit, raw or slightly cooked non-starchy vegetables you want whanever you want. Measuring out and counting calories on that is absurd, nobody, No Body is fat from eating that. Eat often, eat smart.

If what you did before "worked", you wouldn't have a weight problem now. Will you please stop beating yourself up? Start visualizing yourself as a healthy, fit person, and you start taking actions that make that real.

Any fruit, as long as it is raw. Cooked fruit is wrecked, and that includes pasteurized juice. Any non-starchy veg, starchy being potatoes, yams, corn, parnsnips.

When you eat too little, you lower your metabolism.

Ice Berg lettuce tastes like insecticide. There is many kinds of lettuce, I love Arugula. But some dressing on it. NO diet dressings!

Eat when you first start to feel hungry! Quit chewing yourself out for being overweight, and listen to what your body tries to tell you. When you kick the junk out for a month, your cravings switch from donuts and pizza type stuff to ...spinach.
