HELPP HELP IM STRUGGLING!

Question
Hello ..my name is Alicia. Let me explain my situation.

In my college freshman year, my weight flew up to 136 pounds, which is 12 pounds heavier than my original size (124 lbs) at my height 5'1. This summer I lost 9 pounds and now I'm 127. My GOAL weight is 120.

I never thought losing those little 9 pounds would bring me so much agony and I always find my self continously hungry! My question to you is ..How can I lose these last 7 stubborn pounds!***

Should I run 20 minutes in the morning, then 20 minutes at night? Basically, run twice a day and continue to eat 5-6 small meals. Heavy breakfast, medium size lunch, and light as a feather dinner? I need to really step it up! I'm getting really discouraged. >:(

Answer
Hi Alicia,

If you are going around hungry, you are lowering your metabolism, making it as hard as possible to lose weight. You are right about eating offen, but something is out of whack. Try lightening up on breakfast and eating some satisfaction for dindin.

Yes, get in at least 30 minutes of breathing hard a day, and if it is in 3 times of 10 minutes each, that is fine.

Get into resistance training, but just once a week. Forget the 50 situps, do 2-5,  taking a minute to do each one. Wear out each of your six muscle groups by slow motion actions. This approach is more effective than the ususal hour of agony three times a week.
