Losing weight and keeping it off

Question
Hi

For the last 2 months, I have been eating less junk food and I'm eating about 200-500 less calories a day than I used to. I weighed 148lbs before and now I weigh 135lbs, I'd still like to lose another 5-10lbs.

My question is how will I be able to keep the weight off afterwards? I've heard that you can end up putting on more weight than you lost! Will I be able to eat as much as I used to eat before, or will I have to stick to eating less from now on if I want to keep the weight off?

I don't really get much chance to exercise at all. I've never really been active because I don't really get the time plus I'm very lazy!

By the way I'm 17.

Ok Thanks :)

Answer
GOOD FOR YOU in cutting the junk! The way you're going about your weight loss sounds like it could very well be permanent! Why? Because you're living a lifestyle rather than following a "diet" that you'll eventually go off.

As long as you maintain a regular calorie intake that's not too low, you should be fine.  You can check my site for what to eat and even how much.

When it comes to exercise, I also hate it! Won't do it! But I get it in by doing OTHER things.  Volunteer for a cause that means something to you, whether animal care (zoos, preserves, local vets) or environmental concerns. Maybe a school or elder care facility.  I've got a "volunteer match" at my site that will hook you up with needs in your hometown.
Get yourself a pedometer - the cheap kind will do - and aim for clicking 10,000 steps a day. At first it might be really hard to imagine that, but eventually you get the idea that you can do it with just a few extra efforts. When I first started, I barely made 2,000!!!!! Now it's not unusual for me to average over 12,000!!!  I love it!

Take a look at my site. There's no signing in, no sales and no promotions.
