calories/day?

Question
Hello, I have a strange question about the number of calories we eat per week. Let's say you eat 1500 calories a day, that's 10,500 a week. But let's say you binged one day, by like 2100 calories, could you average this out to overeating by 300 each day for that week? Or does it all just pile onto that one day? Do our bodies understand the concept of a week?

Answer
Dear Andrea, When you overeat during the day, the body has to deal with those extra calories at that time. The body will store those extra calories as fat. Later in the week when you eat less than you should, the body will burn off the stored fat for energy. So it all levels out eventually. Laura Kraemer, Slimkids.com
